Chad's national mediator, Saleh Kebzabo, on Thursday called on all parties to stop fighting around Miski, in the northern province of Tibesti, from 7 November, in a statement reported by Flashtchad. The mediator's office said it regretted the persistence of clashes whose human and security consequences, it said, threaten the peace process.

It urged the parties to return to dialogue and to preserve the peace agreement signed on 20 April 2025 in Bardaï, saying differences should not be used as a pretext to undermine what has been achieved. It offered to support any initiative towards a peaceful outcome. Le N'Djam Post reported that two earlier appeals for a halt had gone unheeded.

The statement as reported records an appeal and a date, not agreement by those fighting. Its stress is on keeping the Bardaï agreement alive.
